"Immaculate" is how the FHM team describes Angelica Panganiban.
The 20-year-old actress finally graces the cover of FHM (For Him Magazine) this March.
"When Santa Santita was released, I was aware that you were already trying to invite me to pose," says Angelica in her interview with Chrissy Icamina of FHM.
Angel, as showbiz folks would call her, explains, "At the time, though, I felt that Santa Santita was enough to show people that I was ready to take on mature roles. Wala pa sa sistema ko ang mag-pose para sa men's magazine. To me, timing is very important.
"So ngayong ready na ako, si Mr. M [Johnny Manahan] na yung pinag-decide ko. Kung pumayag siya, go ako dahil kaya ko na."
Angel talks candidly about her newfound independence, her love life, and her favorite past time.
SEXY SAMURAI. The FHM team brought Angelica to the beaches of Bohol for the sexy shoot.
While on break, Angelica fiddles with her pen and stares intently at the samurai—the Sudoku Samurai puzzle, that is.
Angel admits that now that she is living alone in her condo unit, she has found ways to entertain herself.
"I count the cars that pass by down the road from my window. And I now know that in Eastwood, 32 cars pass in a span of one minute. I also read a lot, play Sudoku, and watch DVDs," says the quirky Angel.
Living by herself for the past six months, Angelica says she is still trying to learn how to do stuff by herself.
She remarks, "I told my mom that I really needed to do this, to help myself instead of relying on others to help me. She was very supportive and tinulungan pa nga niya ako maghanap ng condo. Paglipat ko, siguro it took me about three days just to fold my clothes and put them all in the cabinet.
"Until now I'm still adjusting."
IT'S COMPLICATED. FHM asked if Angelica is single.
"I think so," she smiles. "Ewan ko, I'm still confused!"
Angel was in a relationship with young actor Carlo Aquino for a long time. They started going out when she was only 13.
She admits that she has learned a lot about love at such a young age. "One of them is to learn to respect yourself. And it's true na dapat talaga mahalin mo muna sarili mo. Kung hindi, magmumukha ka lang ***** sa relationship, kasi okay ka lang nang okay sa lahat ng gusto niyang gawin," asserts Angelica.

Muling nag-pose sa mapangahas na pictorial bilang sexy cover girl si Anne Curtis para sa isang men’s magazine.

Ayon sa report, hindi na bago para kay Curtis ang mag-pose na suot lamang ay mga bikini.

Marami umanong natatanggap na alok si Curtis para maging sexy cover sa ibang men’s magazine pero nagustuhan niya ang "high fashion concept" ng magazine na kanyang napili.

Ipinagtataka naman ng marami kung bakit nananatiling single pa rin ang sexy young actress na nagdiwang kamakailan ng kanyang ika-22 na kaarawan.

Sa kaarawan ni Curtis, sinorpresa siya ng non-showbiz na manliligaw na si Erwin Genuino na itinuturing naman ng aktres na isang kaibigan.

“Right now, I’m just happy being alone--but not lonely," pahayag ni Curtis.

Gusto namang tapusin ni Curtis ang isyung nagkakamabutihan sila ni Sam Milby.

“As I’ve said a million times already, we’re just friends,” sabi pa nito.

Hindi pa umano handa si Curtis na pumasok sa isang relasyon kung hindi naman iyon tunay na para sa kanya.

“Hindi na ako makikipag-boyfriend, if he’s not the one na," paliwanag nito.

Mukhang tuloy na tuloy na ang muling pagsasama ng ex-couple na sina Anne Curtis at Oyo Sotto sa isang episode ng Your Song ng ABS-CBN.

Pinaplantsa na lang daw ang magiging istorya ng pagsasamahan nina Anne at Oyo. Wala rin daw problema sa dalawang young stars ang pagsasama nila ulit para sa isang project dahil magkaibigan pa rin naman sila hanggang ngayon.

It’s been a long time coming, this shoot. What took you so long to say yes?

No. Alam ko rin naman na roon na ako papunta—sa lahat ba naman ng mga pinaggagawa ko, ha ha! Pero just as long as there’s no nudity. Although personally, if it were up to me, this would be my last appearance in a men’s magazine.

Do you feel pressured to maintain a certain image?
Actually hindi kasi mas nahirapan akong gawin yun nung bata pa ako. Especially at the time na karamihan ng followers ko mga bata rin. Dapat lahat talaga ng mga kilos ko maayos.

So, you can now admit to having a crazy side?
Oo, baliw talaga ako, sobra, ha ha! Lumabas na siya ngayon! Makulit ako at sobrang gulo kasi halos lahat ng friends ko bading. Nahahawa tuloy ako sa pagiging maingay at magulo nila. Sometimes, I even talk like them when I’m being interviewed on television.

Angel Locsin to remake Vilma Santos's role in "Relasyon"

Si Angel Locsin ang gaganap sa role na ginampanan ng Star For All Seasons na si Vilma Santos sa remake ng classic movie na Relasyon (1982).

Vilma's role as a mistress won for her the first-ever grand slam acting award for an actress in a lead role. Directed by the late Ishmael Bernal and written by Ricky Lee, Relasyon also starred Christopher de Leon as Vilma's lover and the late Jimi Melendez (father of Aiko Melendez) as Vilma's suitor.

Isa ang Relasyon sa mga Regal movies na balak sanang bilhin ng ABS-CBN para gawing soap opera. But Regal Entertainment has decided to do a remake instead, with Angel reprising Vilma's award-winning role.

Regal is also eyeing Aga Muhlach to play Boyet's role. Dito sa remake ay balitang mas mahaba ang exposure ng role ng lalaki kaysa sa original movie.

Balitang mas hahabaan din ang papel ng magiging asawa ni Aga, if he do accept the project, sa pelikula. In the original movie, dalawang beses lang ipinakita ang asawa ni Boyet, once sa ospital and the other sa libing, dahil umiikot nga ang kuwento sa point of view ng kabit ng lalaki.

Raquel Villavicencio is doing the script with Joel Lamangan as the director.

Balita ring makikipag-tie up ang Regal Entertainment with Star Cinema to get the services of Aga, being an exclusive contract artist of the film arm of ABS-CBN. Puwede itong magawa without the cooperation of GMA Films this time dahil although exclusive si Angel sa GMA Network for TV assignments, she is under contract with Regal Films pagdating sa pelikula.

Kung saka-sakaling matuloy ang pagre-remake ng Relasyon, napakalaking pressure nito for Angel dahil masyadong identified ang role na ito kay Vilma. Idagdag pa rito ang katotohanang this was the role that made Vilma the first-ever grand slam best actress winner.

Dennis Trillo : All Out Of Love

Ilo-launch sa SOP sa February 25 ang first single release ng debut

album ni ng Dennis Trillong na "All Out of Love," original ng Air
Supplyo at ginamit sa TVC ng napkin endorsement ng actor at ex-
girlfriend ni Derek Ramsey. Sa March 11 naman ang official launch ng
album under Indi Music nina Regine Velasquez, Leo Dominguez at Ogie
Alcasid.

Dapat, March 5 ang launching, kaya lang sa Bacolod gagawin ang SOP
at no choice ang mga producer kundi i-move sa ibang petsa ang
special occasion sa buhay ng actor. Bago pa man ang launching ng
single at album, tumutugtog na sa radio ang first single at maganda
ang pagtanggap ng listeners.

Tagalog at English songs ang nakapaloob sa 11-track album at kasama
ang revival ng "Love Is All That Matters." May duet din si Dennis at
Regine, ang "Magtatagpong Muli" na nagbigay ng matinding nerbyos sa
actor dahil Asia's Songbird ang ka-duet niya.

Samantala, sobrang happy si Dennis sa mataas na rating ng Super
Twins sa Monday at Tuesday episode. Obvious na na-miss siya ng
primetime viewers dahil kahit naka-maskara siya ay sinusubaybayan pa
rin.

A US vacation for Richard

RICHARD Gutierrez is leaving on February 17, after the opening of his “The Promise” on Valentine’s Day, for a well-deserved vacation in the States. “After taping for ‘Captain Barbell’ almost every day for eight months, then shooting ‘Mano Po 5’ and ‘The Promise,’ I feel I’m really entitled to take a rest,” he says.

He’s going with his parents and brother Elvis to L.A. then to New York City. He’s excited as it’s his first trip to the Big Apple. “Lagi lang kami sa West Coast so going to the East Coast is something new to me. Kaya lang, sobra raw ang lamig ng winter doon ngayon.”

Upon his return, Richard will go back to work for his new show, “Lupin,” where he is paired with Katrina Halili, Rhian Ramos, Ehra Madrigal plus another new girl whose identity is still a mystery. For “Lupin,” GMA-7 is getting him his own stylist who will look after look his wardrobe and hair style.

Richard is confident that his Valentine movie with Angel Locsin, “The Promise,” will be a big hit. “We both gave it my best,” he says. “This is my most dramatic film so far and I even have a breakdown scene na talagang pinag-aralan ko muna nang husto before we shot it.”

Robin's daughters idolize Angel

Aalis si Robin Padilla at ihahatid ang dalawang anak na sina Queenie (14 yrs. old) at Kyle (13 years old) sa Thailand para mag-aral ng Muay Thai. Kasama rin nila si Mommy Eva na makakasama ng dalawang bata habang nag-aaral ito roon. Tatlong araw naman ang ilalagi ni Binoe at uuwi rin agad dahil nagti-taping ito ng Asian Treasures.

Sa March 11 ay aalis sina Angel Locsin at Binoe patungong Thailand, Mongolia at China para mag-taping. Isang buwan silang mananatili run.

Fan na fan pala ni Angel sina Queenie at Kyle at kapag nanonood sila ng taping ay pinapalakpakan nila ang aktres pagkatapos ng mga eksena.

Sinabi ni Binoe, malambot ang lips ng aktres at saludo siya sa galing nito sa maaksyong eksena dahil malakas ang loob sa mga stunts.

Robin Padilla naaasiwang makipaghalikan kay Angel

ADJUSTED na sa mga fight scenes, pero hindi pa rin adjusted si Robin Padilla sa romantic scenes niya with Angel Locsin.

Mauunang aalis bukas si Binoe papuntang Thailand pa-ra samahan ang dalawang anak na sina Queenie at Kyle dahil magti-training sila ng Muay Thai and Kendo.

March 15 pa susu-nod ang co-stars ni Ro-bin na sina Angel, Marvin Agustin, Dia-na Zubiri and Jaime Fabregas and the production staff of their top-rating Asian Treasures sa GMA TeleBabad after 24 Oras. Sa Bangkok sila magku-converge.

So far, nakakadalawang kissing scenes na pala sila ni Angel sa Asian Treasures at ayon kay Binoe, masarap at malambot daw ang labi nito. Kaya lang, hindi manliligaw si Binoe kay Angel ka-hit alam niyang single ito ngayon.

Naaalangan si Binoe kay Angel dahil bata ang turing ni-ya rito. Minsan nga raw, nakita pa niya si Angel together with Marky Cielo na naglalaro ng patintero sa taping nila.

Nahihiya naman siyang makipaglaro. Ha-ha-ha!

Angel Locsin and Katrina Halili together on the cover also makes the list.

Cristine Reyes is one of the most sought-after female stars being eyed to grace the covers of men's magazines. The Philippine's number one men's magazine, FHM, is no exception.

FHM (For Him Magazine) editor-in-chief Allan Madrilejos gave PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) his wish list of cover girls. Allan mentioned Ara Mina's younger sister, Cristine Reyes, first.

"Si Cristine kasi, una, matagal na siyang inaabangan. Eto yung mga sobrang lakas na yung following nila. Sa website pa lang, ang hahaba na nung debate kung kelan. Yung hotness niya medyo kilala e. Mataas yung level," says Allan.

If Cristine agrees to pose for FHM, this will be only the second time she will do a sexy photo shoot. Cristine was one of the featured stars in the 2006 calendar of GMA-7's Artist Center. In that sexy photo shoot, Cristine was joined by co-Artist Center talent Katrina Halili, where both of them were only wearing two-piece bikinis.

SEXY TWOSOMES. FHM is also planning to come up with an explosive duo for the magazine by having both Angel Locsin and Katrina Halili on one cover. The two were hailed as FHM's Sexiest in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
Allan says, "Mga concept na tipong Angel and Katrina magkasama. Naging sexiest yung dalawang yan. Minsan lang hinahanap na may gawin kang iba. Isipin mo treat din ‘yan para sa mga mambabasa mo, yung mapagsama mo sila sa isang cover. 'Pag bida si Angel, ang effective na kontrabida si Katrina. Mayroon silang relationship na parang masarap i-explore at ipakita sa isang pictorial."

Also in FHM's list are models Nicole Hernandez and Kelly Misa.

"Taon-taon ‘pag may 100 Sexiest [Women], lagi silang nandun. Taon-taon, hindi sila uma-attend ng iba nating events. Mapapansin mo ‘pag lumalabas yung pictures nila, ang lakas talaga ng sigawan. Meron silang hatak among the boys and gentlemen na sumusubaybay sa FHM. Worth a try naman. Pasok naman sila sa panlasa ng buong FHM," says Allan about the two models.

THE FUTURE. Other personalities who made it to FHM's wish list are Ryza Cenon, Jean Garcia, Angelica Panganiban, Mojofly lead vocalist Lougee, and sisters Ehra and Michelle Madrigal.

Allan explains what it takes to be on the magazine cover: "Kailangan ang lakas talaga nung sexy factor, na pwede siyang pag-usapan. Kunwari, pwede kang pag-usapan sa website lang. Ang appeal niya, kailangang malaki. Hindi rin biro ang maging FHM cover. Kailangan maganda din yung pagpili at nasa timing din."

He also adds, "Definitely yung choices, varied. Different range of sexiness. Di tayo confined lang sa young stars. Yun naman ang gusto nating i-develop. Well-rounded ang FHM cover babes. Medyo top of mind 'yan na maaaring matrabaho namin this year."

Everything is still on the drawing board, with 2007 just getting started. Whether or not they appear on your magazine cover, you can still expect another sexy year with FHM!

Relasyong Pauleen-Marvin saan mapupunta?

Emosyonal din si Pauleen Luna nang mag-guest siya sa Startalk nu'ng
Sabado.

Aminado siyang may problema sila ni Marvin Agustin at mukhang
matutuloy sa paghihiwalay ang kanilang relasyon.

Dumating na sa puntong puno na ang magulang ni Pauleen kay Marvin
dahil sa mga nakita nilang hindi magandang pakikitungo nito kay
Pauleen.

Hindi ito naitago sa ina ni Pauleen dahil hawak na nito ngayon ang
cellphone ng young actress.

Hinihigpitan na nila ito ngayon kay Marvin at ang huling narinig ko,
mismong ang ama na ni Pauleen ang nakiusap sa young actress na
hiwalayan na ang aktor.

"Mas pinapaniwalaan ko ang mother's instinct at alam kong hindi
nararapat si Marvin sa anak namin. Pinagbigyan ko rin naman sila
noon at pinapakisamahan namin siya nang husto, pero napuno na ako
dahil hindi ko na gusto ang nakikita ko," pahayag ng mommy ni
Pauleen.

Maraming mga bagay na ngayon na nakikita ang ina ni Pauleen kay
Marvin na hindi nito nagustuhan.

Matagal na raw niya itong pinapalagpas at hinahayaan na munang
makita ito ng kanyang anak. Ngunit mukhang nabulagan na ang dalaga
kaya nagdesisyon na ang magulang ni Pauleen na ilayo ito kay Marvin.

"Alam kong mabait si Pauleen na anak at kami pa rin ang pipiliin
niya. Alam kong paninindigan pa rin niya na ang priority niya sa
buhay ay ang Diyos, ang pamilya niya at ang career," patuloy ng
Mommy ni Pauleen.

Kahit masakit sa young actress ang makipaghiwalay kay Marvin,
kailangan niya itong gawin para sa kanyang pamilya.

Handa na sina Richard Gutierrez at Angel Locsin para sa kanilang
kauna-unahang mature roles sa pelikulang The Promise.

The Promise is jointly produced again by Regal Films and GMA Films—
the same tandem that gave us the last two years' hit Valentine
movies, Let The Love Begin and I Will Always Love You, na sina
Richard and Angel din ang mga bida. This time, The Promise will
actually be shown on Valentine's Day, February 14.

The Promise is a loose remake of Reyna Films' Hihintayin Kita Sa
Langit (1991) of Carlos Siguion-Reyna, starring Richard Gomez and
Dawn Zulueta. Raquel Villavicencio, scriptwriter for both movies,
disclosed na mas malapit sa novel ni Emily Bronte na Wuthering
Heights ang The Promise kaysa sa Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit.

Ayon kay Raquel, Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit kasi is nearer to the
1939 film version that starred Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon,
playing Heathcliff and Catherine, the novel's original character
names.

Mike Tuviera—the man behind TXT and the "LRT-2" episode of Shake,
Rattle & Roll 8—is the director of The Promise, to be shot in
several parts of the country, including Bolinao in Pangasinan,
Cavite, and Laguna.

Pinabata lang ni Raquel ang mga bidang characters to suit the age of
Richard and Angel. The award-winning scriptwriter, however, stresses
that this will be the first time na gaganap ng mature roles ang
dalawa sa pinakasikat na young stars sa kasalukuyan.

Sa first trailer pa lang shown in a mini-press con with the
publicists and editors, hitik na ang halikan ng dalawang bida. In
one scene pa nga, Richard is just in his maong pants while talking
to Rhian Ramos—one of Richard's leading ladies in Captain Barbell.

Hindi pa rin daw tapos ang principal photography ng The Promise, so
hindi pa nakukunan ang isang love scene na gagawin nina Richard and
Angel. Although PG-13 ang rating na inaasahan ng pelikula, expected
na rin daw nina Richard and Angel that their love scene here will be
more than what they did in their past movies and TV shows together.
Pareho na raw silang handa para rito.

The Promise also stars TJ Trinidad, Ryan Eigenmann, and Raquel
Villaviciencio herself as TJ and Rhian's mother.
